Passionate about large format film, I enjoy the production process and I’m very meticulous. Whether it's a celebrity, senior citizen, child, everyday folk or captain of industry, I create a bond with subjects that encourages them to open their hearts and souls to me and the camera. I respect that exchange and, in return, deliver an intimate portrait.
My portraits are easily distinguished by a refined, minimalist style, my subjects looking squarely in the camera. As I’m often photographing real people, I find that I direct my subjects conversationally, guiding them to reveal aspects of their personality and character. My goal is to create a comfortable, fun atmosphere where people are free to trust and be themselves.
